In late January I had the pleasure of photographing a reception for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) here in Seattle. The reception took place at the Seattle Asian Art Museum, which is a real favorite of mine. And that’s not just because it’s the only museum in my neighborhood! I also love the building’s cool art deco styling and the sculptures that line the walls of the main hall. The reception honored Seattle’s APIASF scholarship recipients, and former Governor Gary Locke was the keynote speaker. It was a beautiful and fun event to cover, and I was so glad to be there to document it. Here area a few photos from the evening.
