I have one last wedding from 2007 that hasn’t been on the blog yet–Kate & Rob got back from their honeymoon in February, and I didn’t want to post the photos until they had seen them in person. So here are a few favorites from their beautiful, elegant, intimate wedding at the Sorrento Hotel just three days before Christmas. I love the Sorrento at any time of year, but at Christmas they really outdo themselves–trees, garlands everywhere, fireplaces ablaze–it’s so festive and fun and it was the perfect backdrop for Kate and Rob’s wedding.
There were a few hitches along the way: Kate’s family was coming in from the UK, and the airlines had lost their luggage, so the day before the wedding (and the day of!) was filled with frantic shopping trips so that they would have something to wear. Luckily everything fell into place in time for the wedding, but I can’t imagine the stress that must have added. But if they were stressed, neither Kate nor Rob showed it. They were in great spirits, and the wedding was lovely all the way through to the very memorable and funny toasts at the end. Here are my favorite shots from the night.
Cutest cake topper ever:

Thanks so much to Kate and Rob for including me in your wedding. Thanks also to the always fabulous Rebecca Ellison for her excellent work as second shooter.
