Wedding: Annie & Matt

Annie and Matt’s wedding day photos started out at the Red Salon downtown where all the girls were getting their hair and makeup done. Here’s Annie, looking completely gorgeous even before the makeup goes on:

Final bridal hairspray application:

Then we moved on to the Olympic Sculpture Park, where the ceremony was going to take place.

Matt & Annie seeing each other for the first time:

We took some couple portraits…

…and then took some couple plus dog portraits:

I love this doggie’s mismatched eyes:

And I loved all the red Annie had going on…the great flowers on her dress, her shiny shoes:

Then came bridal party photos:

Guests started arriving:

And it was ceremony time:

Just a few minutes after we came up here for portraits a freight train rolled into the frame:

The Seattle Aquarium, where the reception was held, was only a few blocks away from the sculpture park–the perfect distance for a horse & carriage:

The flowers were all done by Willow & Bloom. It was my first time working with them and they did an amazing job:

At the Aquarium there was a real octopus…

…and a fake one too:

The reception room had an amazing wall-sized tank at one end:

After dinner there was lots of dancing:

A great bluegrass band, the Haggis Brothers, played. Matt joined in for a few songs:

Thanks to Anna Le for her great work as second shooter, and thanks to Annie and Matt for having such a great wedding!
