Wedding: Leigha & Tim

I met Leigha & Tim at last year’s Get Hitched Give Hope, and after a super fun engagement session I was so thrilled when they booked me for heir wedding. The day went off perfectly (thanks to the fab planning of Megan and Kate of A Kurant Event) and the flowers were gorgeous (thanks to the amazing artistry of Christopher Flowers) and there was a super fun photobooth by 321 Foto.  Best of all, Leigha and Tim were SO much fun to work with and photograph.  I love their sense of humor and it was the kind of wedding where at the end of the night your cheeks hurt from so much smiling. Have a look at my favorites from their day, and keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the awesome surprise dance routine they busted into during the first dance…oh and the amazing sparkler exit!

At this wedding I had the help of not one but two amazing second shooters. Thank you to Theo Stroomer and Elizabeth Nelson for your incredible work!

Katie, Michael, Wyatt & Alexander

I’m still catching up on blogging portraits, so here’s a sweet family I photographed last year–you might recognize Alexander from his baby session I posted a while back!

Wedding: Devin & Jeremiah

The Chapel of St. Ignatius. Flowers from Pike Place Market. A pretty white cotton wedding sundress. A frolic in Magnuson Park. The biggest, tastiest potluck dinner I’d ever been to.  Amazing, heartfelt toasts. Love. This was a wedding that had so many wonderful things going on that my list doesn’t begin to cover them all. Have a look at how it all went:

Devin & Jeremiah, it was such a pleasure getting to meet your families and to document your day.  And, lastly a big thanks to Meghan at MKM Photography for your wonderful second shooting!

Annette, Brandon & Max

Remember this cute little guy? Well a year after our first session we went to one of my favorite parks for portraits, Volunteer Park, and got some great shots and even got a few photos with the cherry blossoms in there. Looking at these photos again makes me miss spring.

Engaged: Lizzy & Manny

Lizzy and Manny’s wedding is coming up this weekend! We did their engagement shoot on a blazing hot and sunny July day at Discovery Park. We walked all over the place…through fields, beaches, and more, and somehow Lizzy and Manny managed to stay fresh and photogenic despite the heat.  Here are my faves from the shoot, and I’ll see you guys this Saturday!

Brandie, Drew, Cadence and One More on the Way

You’ll probably recognize this awesome family from a few of the past shoots we’ve done. And here’s a new one we did on a brilliantly sunny afternoon in Lincoln park!

Engaged: Amber & Ian

Amber and Ian are getting married tomorrow! I’m so excited and can’t wait to document their day. Here are a few of my favorites from their Alki engagement session…

Melissa, Michael & Lucas

I met Melissa & Michael back in 2009 when I photographed the wedding of Michael’s sister Aubrey. Now Melissa and Michael have an adorable baby named Michael and I photographed the three of them at their home a few months back.

Wedding: Ashley & Jesse

There were a lot of fireworks at this wedding–sparks flying between Ashley and Jesse followed later on by literal fireworks over Lake Union. They were married on the 4th of July and their wedding was just as big and bright and fun as the light show. (You might remember these two from their engagement shoot and the photobooth at their wedding.) Photographing two people as in love as these guys is one of the absolute best parts of my job–their happiness is written all over their faces, and their high spirits make everything sparkle when they’re around. So without further ado, have a look at my favorites from their awesome wedding day.

The whole night was a blast, and it was made even better because I had the privilege of having none other than the amazing Barbie Hull as my second shooter. Thanks, Flanny and Jesse,  for the best 4th of July ever!

Engaged: Dina & Matt

I’m so excited to photograph Dina & Matt’s wedding this Sunday at the Edgewater! For their engagement shoot we hit some parks–Occidental Park, Kerry Park–and we also took some photos at their home (thanks again for the pie, Dina!). They are such a cool and eclectic couple. Dina is switching jobs from pie recipe developer to doing R&D at a local beef jerky behemoth and Matt spends his free time rebuilding mopeds and playing his sweet electric piano. I’ll save the awesome story of how they met (hint: it involves outer space) for when I post their wedding photos.
